Condolences

Condolence From: Peter O'Neill
Condolence: We are all saddened that Bob is no longer with us. Many of us worked with him at Raytheon Marlboro. I knew Bob for only the past year and a half, but I had the privilege of working in the office next to his.
We had many conversations, most about sports, and most of those about the Red Sox, with whom we shared a lifetime passion. Bob was a fan of most sports, but no matter what time of year, he always steered the conversation back toward his beloved Sox. He could remember details about a particular game or player from 10 or 20 years ago. Over the past year, he repeatedly said that an upcoming Red Sox rookie, Andrew Benintendi, was a star in the making, and that he would eventually exceed the outstanding accomplishments of other young players, such as Mookie Betts, Jackie Bradley, and Xander Boegarts. Well, Benintendi had a great spring training, and now writers and announcers are saying what Bob predicted a year ago.
Bob was very well-respected in the Raytheon community. He worked hard, and would never, ever, go back on his word. My only regret is that I knew Bob for too short a time.
Rest in peace, Bob.
