Obituary for Ann Marie Charest

Ann Marie Charest

Ann Marie Charest, a lifelong resident of Northborough and Shrewsbury, passed away in her sleep Monday, March 12, 2018 at the young age of 47. Ann was born in Marlborough on September 12, 1970, a daughter to Henry R. and Theresa S. (Brunelle) Charest. She attended Northborough Public Schools, graduating from Algonquin Regional H.S., Class of 1988. She attended Salter College where she obtained medical assistant training. Ann had a successful career in the biotech field where she continued to excel, a testament to the work and dedicated effort she put forth. Previous positions included Medical Project and Regulatory Associate for Medical and Technical Research Associates, Inc, Activ Biotics, Inc., New World Laboratories, Harvard Clinical Research Institute and GTC Biotherapeutics. For the past 9 years she worked as Senior Manager and Director of Quality Control for Arteriocyte / Isto Biologics of Hopkinton.
Ann was full of life and enjoyed traveling to new places; always returning and supplying her friends with a list of “to go” and “to do” recommendations. Her infectious laugh and sense of humor could put a smile on anyone’s face. She was a diehard N.E. sports fanatic and enjoyed catching a game whenever she could. She will be missed by those who has the pleasure of knowing her.
Besides her loving parents Ann leaves behind a brother, Donald H. Charest of Northborough and a sister, Cheryl A. Charest of Auburn and six very special nieces and nephews, Zachary Charest, Jaynelle Bellemore, Amanda Bellemore, Travis Gardner, Daniel Bellemore, and Connor Charest. She also leaves her two furbabies who were dear to her, Dakota and Fenway.
Calling hours will be held from 4-7P.M. on Monday, March 19th at Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street, Northborough. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10A.M. on Tuesday, March 20th, at St. Bernadette Parish, 266 Main Street, Northborough. Ann will be laid to rest in Howard Street Cemetery.
